NEPTUNE 1 - outdoor cold shower / non plumbed

5 WARRANTY claims need to be directed via Flutter Design who will deal with the supplier Hydra Plumbing.

At Hydra Plumbing Supplies offers a full 5 year Manufacturers Warranty on all of the fittings we make. 

The warranty is valid for 5 years from the date of your invoice which is supplied with the goods when shipped. you should keep this invoice somewhere safe to ensure you have all the correct details should you need to make a warranty claim. 

We require you to provide the full name, invoice number and date of order when making your claim to ensure a quick turnaround on any remedial products we have to send to you. If you cannot provide these details and we are unable to verify your order we may not be able to honour your warranty claim.

We only provide warranty claims to the original buyer of the goods, if this was a plumber, builder or a retail store you will need to make a claim with them as they hold the relevant information they will need to send to us. We cannot honour a claim made by someone who did not purchase the goods as our paperwork does not reflect their details.

Under the Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA, 1993) of New Zealand which we are governed our warranty is for the repair or replacement of the faulty parts of our products which can be replaced, we do not replace the entire product if it is not necessary. The CGA allows us as the manufacturer and supplier to decide on the best course of action  for repair or replacement of goods. 

Our warranty does not cover intentional damage, only manufacturing defects. We reserve the right to deny a claim on these grounds if we suspect there is intentional damage. 

All HYDRA products and packaging are sold as fully recyclable or reusable, as such we encourage all of our customers to recycle old packaging and at the end of the products life to recycle or re purpose our products.

 

While Hydra don't warrant our products for cold weather climates they have had customers install them with great success in the past. They do however recommend you winterise any plumbing fittings installed in an area that may reach freezing temperatures.

If you are fitting a shower outdoors it is recommended that it can be isolated before the water reaches the outdoor environment and that you include a way to drain all water from your outdoor plumbing to ensure it cant freeze. 

While copper and brass are both strong plumbing materials they aren't indestructible and freezing water can expand and cause your pipes to split or crack, destroying fittings and causing leaks once thawed. 

If you plan to install our fittings in a cold environment please consult with your installer or plumber before hand and ensure they install appropriate winterising systems to keep your fittings safe.
